By using Context HQ you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language — please read them.
Context HQ ("we," "us," "our") is a productivity application operated from Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Context HQ web application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use Context HQ.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at our contact form if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share your account with others, create accounts by automated means, or create an account if you have previously been removed from the Service.
You own your data. Notes, projects, contacts, and other content you create in Context HQ belong to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your account.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you enter into Context HQ does not violate applicable laws or the rights of third parties.
Context HQ allows you to connect your Google account to access Gmail and Google Calendar data within the Service. When you connect a Google account, you authorize Context HQ to access that data in accordance with the permissions you grant and our Privacy Policy.
You may disconnect your Google account at any time from Settings. Disconnecting removes our ability to access your Google data going forward but does not delete data already cached in Context HQ. You may delete all cached data by deleting your account.
You agree not to use the Service to:
— Violate any applicable law or regulation
— Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code
— Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network
— Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
— Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
— Impersonate any person or entity
Certain features of Context HQ may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing details will be presented at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated at the time of purchase.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from unavailability of the Service.
The Context HQ application, design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Context HQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our application without our express written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that any errors will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Context HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Context HQ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
